I want to thank you so much for your help with Tweeter, my Amazon parrot. Tweeter is a mature female parrot who talks almost constantly. She is usually happy and very active. Last spring, she suddenly sat fluffed up, and stopped talking and eating. A visit to the vet revealed that she was egg bound with not one, but two fully developed eggs that were pressing on her heart and air sacs.
The vet put her in an incubator and said that she was so weak that he was not certain that she would live. When I phoned you, you instructed me to give her Rescue Remedy along with Sepia and Pulsatilla.
To the vet's credit, he gave her the remedies on the schedule that you directed. Two days later, she expelled one egg and perked up. With continued treatment, she expelled the second one a few days later. Today, she is her old self, happy and talking. It is wonderful to have that sweet voice back.
