"Wanda Bedinghaus is my doctor.
I used to think, okay, I've got a doctor for this, a doctor for that, and oh, yeah, then there's this homeopathic thing on the side over there. But over time, I've come to realize (and accept!) that Wanda's homeopathic treatment is really central to everything else, and is the only medical resource I currently need. While this reality could change over time, right now, it represents for me a concept that is as revolutionary as it is simple.
I am generally a person who needs to understand how everything works, and who often relies on habitual ideas and common societal structures to allay my busy mind's need for comfort and assurance. Working with Wanda requires me to delve more into the realm of trust, faith, and feeling - not just in her practice, but in my personal system's capacity for renewal and growth.
This is a challenge for me ... and one that is critical to my health and well being. So even the process of seeing/accepting/working with Wanda as my "primary health care" resource is part of my healing! What impresses me most, working with Wanda, is the full focus of her attention in our sessions; the thoughtfulness of her questions; the way she sees so much more of my whole self than just the guy in jeans and sports shirts sitting in the chair across her desk.
She's not just listening, she's watching and feeling into my system. And she does it with such grace - a matter-of-fact way that puts even my skeptical analytical mind at ease.
I never feel confronted with an agenda, an intrusion, or an opinion that is contrary to my very best interests and needs. Everything is in impeccable order. She is patient and (most importantly) is effective in transferring that patience to me.
In our first session, I arrived eager for the silver-bullet or magic pill that I am so accustomed to asking for and that so much of society gladly promises in so many ways. I had become conditioned to be "sold" on the "answer," and then in due course, disenchanted before moving on to the next great thing ...
With Wanda, there is an experience of blossoming knowledge and germinating wisdom which even MY restless, impatient system as recognized as a kind of elixer all its own. It has taken several months to identify a remedy that seems most directly appropriate to my situation (what can I say? I am a very subtle and complex guy!) and there is always a feeling of being on the right quest, the true adventure, the slow yet grand and steady progress into unmapped territory - the landscape of my truer internal life.
We live in an energy world, and Wanda is a wonderful resource for helping to interpret the implications of this reality; and providing those little nudges that keep me moving forward in the direction best suited to my health and wholeness.
Which is all a very long-winded way of explaining my first statement ... Wanda Bedinghaus is my doctor. . ."
